This is a full-time position available with a company called Xterprise in Carrollton (http://www.xterprise.com/). They would like to pay this person $85K - $95K ideally. There is extensive travelled involved (50-65%). This is for a PM who has managed projects, not people.
Project Manager
General Responsibilities of this role:
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project(s) and scope
• Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Review deliverable materials prepared by team before delivering to client
• Monitor software development progress by communicating directly with a technical project manager
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Hold regular status meetings with project teams
• Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors
• Conduct formal and informal presentations in group settings
• Tactfully communicate with clients
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects
• Establish and grow strong relationships with client project team and sponsors
• Manage day-to-day client interactions
• Set and manage client expectations
Project Accounting Responsibilities
• Manage project budgets
• Track and report team hours and expenses on a timely basis
• Identify business development and sales opportunities as they relate to projects
• Lead proposal efforts including completing project scoping and level of effort assessments
Technical Knowledge Expectations
• Possess general understanding in the areas of application programming, databases and system design
• Are proficient with MS Project and resource scheduling tools
• Possess an excellent understanding of functional management, project management, change management, release management, configuration management, systems development life cycle methodologies, quality assurance and testing, requirements gathering, and systems analysis and design.
• Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
Sales Support Responsibilities
• Development and scoping of services
• Sign-off of project budgets for new opportunities
• Effectively convey our core messaging in both written and verbal business development discussions
Requirements for this position
• Bachelors degree in computer science, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience within the supply chain industry, preferably warehouse management or asset management implementations
• General knowledge of leading ERP, MRP, EAI, and WMS systems
• Basic SQL skills are preferred
• 50-65% travel is the expectation
• Reside in, or are willing to relocate to the Dallas, Texas area preferred
• Team Foundation Server tools experience a plus
