Chan Patel is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of State Bank of Texas. Chan also is an owner and/or partner in several hotel operations in Texas.
Born in India in 1945, he became a US citizen in 1965 and has been an active owner and operator of hotels since 1976.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Bombay University, a Masters of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University
and a Masters of Science Degree in Management Science from John Hopkins University.
