Prarthana P. NambiarPrarthana, junior at Lone Star High School, is an aspiring Mechatronic Engineer who’s passion constitutes both engineering and arts. Prarthana is the daughter of Prasanth Parambath and Manjima Machulathil. Throughout her pursuits in engineering, she has attended Digital Diva programs, and has won a Generation Tech. Competition for designing an app to help mitigate gender inequality.
Although focused on her academic rigour and career, she also strongly believes in movements towards a widely accessible education and overall community well-being. Being a Legacy leader at her own highschool, she works to help her underclassmen peers figure their way through highschool; a Year Rep for Girls in Stem, she works to help alleviate the gender gap; and by volunteering food banks and animal shelters, she seeks to help her community in every possible way. Alongside such endeavors, Prarthana also has an immense amount of love for dance. Being a student of Bharatanatyam dance for almost eight years, and counting, she has performed on stages nearby and even at the well-respected Guruvayur Temple, Kerala, India. With her passion for dance and community well-being, she has helped organize fundraisers for children in need and Myositis research, by choreographing dance and performing. Passionate and excited, Prarthana is thrilled to be a part of the MEANT organization, and cannot wait to help! |
