I am honored to serve as the President of MEANT for 2025. MEANT continues to be one of the most active and vibrant socio-professional organizations in the North Texas area. Founded in 1997 by a group of visionary engineers, the organization has grown significantly over the past two decades. Today, with over 400 members, MEANT remains committed to fostering professional growth, networking, and community engagement while providing a platform for technical, social and cultural events for its members.
Every year, MEANT organizes a variety of events designed to benefit professionals, students, and the broader community. These events range from discussions on emerging technologies to informational sessions on leadership, finance, entrepreneurship, career development, and more. In addition to these, we actively promote social engagement through events such as picnics, camping trips, and other gatherings that strengthen the bonds within the Malayalee engineering community.
In 2025, we have an exciting lineup of programs aimed at enhancing professional networking, supporting the younger generation in STEM education, and promoting cultural and social engagement. This year, we are expanding our initiatives to include skill development workshops in areas such as art, baking, and photography, providing members with opportunities to explore their creative passions. One of our flagship events, the Math Olympiad, continues to inspire and challenge young minds, promoting STEM education among students. Additionally, we are committed to giving back to the community through volunteering and charity events, reinforcing our core values of service and social responsibility.
