Our History

The Malayalee Engineers Association of North Texas was founded in Nov 1997 by a group of Engineers from India who identified a need for a socio-professional forum to facilitate community involvement for them in the North Texas area. From a group of less than 15 members, the organization has now grown to more than 150 member families, thus becoming the most active socio-professional forum for Indian Engineers with Kerala (Malayalee) links.

Our Mission

The primary mission of the organization is to provide an infrastructure for the professional and personal growth of present and future Indian Engineers with Kerala (Malayalee) links. The secondary mission is to foster community involvement as well as building social and cultural bonds among the members and families by providing a forum for interaction. We envision the organization becoming a professional establishment in the North Texas area with a friendly atmosphere that we are proud to be associated with.
