PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear Visitor,
MEANT is one of the most active and vibrant socio-professional organizations in the North Texas area. The idea of the organization was seeded by several engineers in 1997 and its first BOD took office in 1998. During the past 22 years, the organization has brought together many families of engineers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and contributed to their professional growth. Currently, MEANT has over 300 active members and is striving to provide a platform for engineers to network, support our local community, and provide a venue for professional and social events to members and public.
Every year MEANT organizes events to benefit our members, non-members, and college students in their professional growth. This can vary from discussions on the state of the art technologies to informational sessions on management, finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, career guidance and other areas. MEANT also provides its members with social activities coordinated by various committees.
MEANT has planned number of activities in 2020 to enhance your professional, networking opportunities, encourage younger generation to learn mathematics, science, and promote socio-cultural activities among members in various ways. We invite you to review the upcoming programs and encourage you to avail these great opportunities.
If you are from the engineering discipline and live in the North Texas area, I would like to welcome you to join MEANT. Please visit our website (www.meant.org) to get some preliminary details on the organization. If you have a business in North Texas area or you want to encourage us by sponsoring any of our many activities, we urge you to send us an email at communications@meant.org.
