JERRY GEORGEJerry George has a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Kerala and a MS in Environmental Health from Temple University, Philadelphia. He started his career in IT as an Oracle software developer in the late 90s. Jerry took a break from his IT career to work as Director of Programs for Shalom World TV for 5 years, where he was responsible for all TV programming including creation of program concepts, production and post-production work. With his wife, Silvy and three children Jocelyn, Joe and Jesinta, he lived in Philadelphia for 20 plus years and moved to Dallas 11 years ago.
Being very passionate in music since childhood, Jerry has been an active choir member in various churches. He finds joy in camping, grilling, playing piano and guitar, playing volleyball and pickle ball, composing music and organizing musical gatherings. Back in 2007 and 2008, with a team that included Jayaram, Padma Priya, Usha Uthup, M. Jayachandran and finalists from the Star Singer reality show, he organized several Star Nights in various US cities including New York, Philadelphia, Tampa, Miami, Chicago etc. Originally from a town called Edathua, Alappuzha District in Kerala, Jerry now lives in Allen, TX with his family and is a part of St. Alphonsa Syro Malabar Catholic Church, Coppell. |
