Thank you for registering your kids for the 15th Meant Math Olympiad, to be held at UTD Richardson on November 4th 2023, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT. Please find below more details and instructions for the event.

You may arrive as early as 9 AM to get familiar with the venue, and parking. The students & parents will be redirected to the allocated classrooms from the front desk/registration desk. Check-in will be done at the allocated class rooms.

PARKING
Please use Parking Structure 1 (PS1): Level 2,3,4 & 5 (Refer to the Parking Map below; PS1 can be located in the map grid H9). DO NOT park in the handicap, purple and metered spaces, and any fire lanes.

- You don't need any parking permits to park in PS1. Parking enforcement will be stopped for Parking Structure 1: Level 2,3,4 & 5, for November 4th 2023, 8am-4pm.
- If you feel comfortable using a parking permit instead, use this parking permit. You may park in any Lot or Garage; Orange, Gold, or Green spaces (Please do not park in handicapped, purple, or metered spaces, or any fire lanes). If a parking other than PS1 is used, you must keep a printed copy of this permit on your car dashboard.
Instructions
- Park at Parking Structure 1 (PS1): Level 2,3,4 or 5.
- Parking Permits are not needed for PS1 level 2,3,4 & 5. However, please do not park in handicap, purple and metered spaces, and any fire lanes.
- The exams will be conducted at JSOM buildings. Come to the JSOM front lobby. Class allocation will be available at the front lobby and we will guide you to the respective classes.
- The exam will be conducted based on the student's grade level. The check-in for each category will be done at the respective classes. Please plan to arrive at the latest by 9:30 AM to complete the check-in process on time. Students will not be permitted to enter/check-in, once the exam has started.
- Parents/Guardians should drop the kids to the designated classroom, and complete the check-in process. Also make sure to write down the phone number to reach you, and in case if someone else is picking up the kid after the exam, please note that down as well.
- Once checked-in, students are not allowed to go out of the classroom until the exam is completed. Please make sure that your kid(s) use restroom before checking in.
- While the students take the exam, parents can wait in the Davidson auditorium (SOM 1.118).
- All students should bring pencils and erasers. Students can also use pens.
- Calculators or any smart devices/phones are not allowed in the hall. Water bottles are allowed in the exam hall. No food/snacks are allowed.
- Students will stay in the classroom until the exam is finished. After the exam, parents or the designated guardians should pick up the students from the classroom.
- Parents and students can wait in the Davidson auditorium (SOM 1.118) during the evaluation.
- Results will be announced within an hour from the exam. This will be followed by the award ceremony at the Davidson auditorium (SOM 1.118).
- Winners will be asked to provide the proof of identity and age. Please keep a digital copy of the students ID, with Date of Birth.
- MEANT.org or University of Texas at Dallas will not take custodial responsibility of minors while participating in Math Olympiad 2023. The custodial responsibility will remain with parents or the responsible adult guardian.
