Aliaskutty PathroseAlias currently designs 5G at the Strategic Planning Group for Intelligent Edge Network, a technology group of Verizon. He worked for several major telecommunications corporations (NEC, Fujitsu, Huawei, Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent, Wipro, Windstream Communications, and Lumos Networks) in technical and leadership roles, and started his career as an Electrical Engineer in Indian Aluminum Company, Cochin.
Alias founded MEANT in 1997 with a few other engineers and he served in different leadership roles: Treasurer (1998), Board of Director (2010), President Elect (2000, 2014, 2019), and President (2001 & 2015). He is a Board of Trustee member of Malankara Orthodox Church. Furthermore, he held leadership roles of World Malayalee Council and other charitable organizations. Alias has an expansive education. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from M.S Ramaiah Institute of Technology (Bangalore University), Masters in Math (Cochin University), Computer Science Engineering (University of Texas at Arlington), and Software Engineering (Arizona State University). Originally, he is from Kakkanad, Cochin; presently, he resides in Murphy with wife Shaila, daughter Jessica, and son Justin. |
